In the maritime world, a ship’s logbook records every stage of a voyage. We want to bring that same spirit to life by telling a different story: the birth of our new sport fishing trimaran, designed to offer unforgettable fishing trips, private charters and sea experiences in Barcelona.
Through the Marín(Us) Logbook, we will take you behind the scenes of the construction of our OLBAP TR12 Marín(Us), sharing every important milestone from the shipyard to her first fishing trip. But this project is much more than building a new boat.
The Marín(Us) will become not only our flagship fishing yacht, but also the floating laboratory where KBA Safety First will develop, validate and test its next generation KBA Navigation Assistant, creating smarter, safer and more connected boating experiences.
Every chapter will document the evolution of the trimaran, the integration of its onboard systems, sea trials and the technological development taking place behind the scenes.
We want to share this journey with our fishing friends, customers, partners and everyone who loves the sea.
Welcome to the Marín Us Logbook. Chapter 1 – Construction Begins
The team at OLBAP Shipyard is currently completing the structural preparation of the OLBAP TR12 using an advanced vacuum infusion construction process. The hull incorporates state-of-the-art composite materials, including Sphere-Core and PVC H80 structural cores, creating a lighter, stronger and more efficient trimaran built for performance and durability.

Twin Suzuki DF250 outboard engines supplied by Movilmotors.
A complete Garmin Marine navigation suite including:

Garmin AIS 800 transceiver
During the week of July 27th to July 31st, 2026, one of the most important construction phases will begin: the vacuum infusion lamination process.
